Christmas Humor –
Finding Humor In The Situations We Can’t Control
Christmas Humor –
As I prepare for my second tree this month….
I have to admit as frustrating as it is….
I am finding it quite humorous.
After beginning my December having been told how I had no other choice then to replace my furnace… which was done we are all now warm, cozy, and quite warm most of all safe, from a furnace. That after being replaced we only found out the potential danger that was lurking far beneath our feet under the floor boards a fire that was destined to happen if we didn’t replace the unit.
To finding a new dentist …. which after having failed dentistry to be told that the dentist before didn’t just do a root canal, but perforated my tooth. Now needing oral surgery.
Then to be able to trust someone after getting that mouth full.
To having so many unexpected bills in such a short time. To the realization that I truly learned to survive with a smile through the intense pain days.
Realizing I truly am stronger than I think….
While trying to stay afloat in which so many Americans find themselves the “struggling middle class”.
To still having to shop and pull off the magic of the holidays.
Which no doubt in my mind I will.
Because one of the most fondest memories I have a child was the magical moments, of the holidays the smiles, the laughter, the stories of Christmas past, and the Christmas present unwrapping in front of eyes.
As we shall find humor next year of this Christmas.
For now I smile and think of the stories Christmas future will bring.
To instead of looking at the burden of putting up my tree.
I really look forward to having the chance to reminisce with my kids again as we redecorate another tree this season!
