Easy To Make Crock Pot Mashed Potatoes – With the holidays approaching I started questioning how to make it easier in the kitchen. One way I have found is making Crock Pot Mashed Potatoes. This recipe is a hit and requires no lifting of a heavy, boiling pot of water and potatoes to drain it. Super easy prep and super easy clean up..it’s a win, win for everyone! 🙂
Prep time: Cook time: Total time:
2 pounds red potatoes, cut into 2 inch pieces (you can peel them, but you don’t need too)
¼ cup milk
½ cup sour cream
2 teaspoons minced garlic
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
Spray the inside of the crock pot with cooking spray. Add chopped potatoes. Cover and cook 2-3 hours on high or 5-6 hours on low.
Then add sour cream, milk, garlic, salt, and pepper to potatoes. Use a hand mixer to blend together all ingredients. Add more salt if desired.
Serve plain, or add gravy or cheese and bacon.
* Mashed Potatoes can be frozen, place desired portions in freezer safe containers and reheat.
