Lies Versus Lives Poem |
Breast Implant Illness Also known As BII
Lies Versus Lives Poem
Lies Verses Lives Poem
This should not come as a surprise,
It’s way past time to open everyone’s eyes.
Look at us and see our tears,
Listen to us please hear our fears.
Our stories began with so many lies,
Our lives we live praying our sisters won’t die.
Breast Implant Illness can continue through explants,
We must not allow ourselves to think that it can’t.
All of us learning while finding our ways,
Thanks to those who spoke up many yesterdays.
Countless women in the world have shown,
We are never really completely alone.
Working together we are each paving a wider road,
More and more are coming to understand and to know.
As each of us are going through our personal turmoils,
We have our sisters who are very caring and loyal.
So many of us are speaking out loud,
To anybody and more than a crowd.
We won’t give up at any cost,
Rest assured we won’t be lost.
We have sisters who will always share,
We stand together because we care.
This struggle began so long ago,
We won’t stop, yes we will show.
Explant is the first step we each must take,
Removing the poisons what a difference explanting does make.
Breast Implant Illness is so very real,
It can take much more than could ever be easily healed.
There has got to be, there must be a way,
To stop this nightmare sooner than someday.
Sisters have found while suffering so,
Poisons were let loose in our bodies as if it were unknown.
The many mysteries our health and lives could become,
Women abandoned left feeling confused and or shunned.
Breast Implant Illness does cause misery, illnesses and pains,
While others continue to gain and to gain.
Steps we must make are costing us still,
Ones with the power take as if they don’t feel.
Discovering ways to continue living out their outrageous wills,
Destroying lives with devastating damages not easy to heal.
Breast Implant Illness has more than reached its peak,
As sisters we’ve been bound together not left alone or weak.
We as sisters must hang on with all of our might,
Thankfully we have those who are able and willing to fight.
So as we all continue to face the breast implants tests,
We will not be stopped and we refuse to allow those who are responsible rest.

My name is Dana, I am a 50-year-old, mother, wife and grammy. I am also one of thousands of women struggling to survive “Breast Implant Illness” My entire life was changed just 2 months after my 40th birthday. I trusted that I would not get sick or suffer from saline breast implants, little did I know what my future would hold. Life’s challenges can be great, I try my best to help bring awareness to this debilitating illness.
Recently my world was shook as I became the mother of an attempted suicide survivor. My world had never been shaken so much until the night I received that heartbreaking call. In my writings my emotions flow. I share in hope that I am able to help bring awareness to “Breast Implant Illness” and “Suicide Prevention”.
