Mothers Love Like No Other – Poem Bringing Awareness to Drug Addiction and Suicide Prevention
Love felt by a mother,
Is like no other.
Her heart can easily,
Be torn completely apart.
When you do heartbreaking things,
She feels the long lasting pain.
Giving birth is a blessing,
While living on this earth.
Please stop and think,
Before causing her such hurt.
Most of us have only one mother,
There isn’t much chance of finding another.
So now that you are grown,
And out on your own.
Take more time to think,
Please don’t make her heart sink.
Remember your mother,
Still loves you like no other.
She’s been through so much more,
Than you’ve seen in your world.
Give her a glance,
Before taking a chance.
That will leave her for broken,
Without even a token.
Of the love that she feels,
While you’re out causing her chills.
Taking careless risks with your very own life,
Can be as dangerous as a two sided knife.
Please don’t throw away,
Your life in a day.
Reach out for your mother,
She loves you like no other.
From the day you were born,
Her heart could be torn.
Your mother won’t stand bye,
Watching you want to die.
Talk to your mother before your thoughts carry you away,
She may have the words that you need her to say.
I love you my child,
Please stop acting so wild.
You do have a a choice,
To live and rejoice.
Living for your future days,
Can change your reckless ways.
Someday you will look back,
And it won’t all be black.
Love is meant to be forever,
Between a child and its mother.
The lights will someday shine,
On happiness you both will find.
Happy memories can come back and around,
If you are not placed in the ground.
Soon tomorrows will be yesterdays,
Please don’t deny the love in your life today.
Filled with love from the start,
I now have a mother’s broken heart.
I beg you my child please won’t you stay,
I could not bare it if you went away.
~For children and their mother’s with broken hearts~

Life’s challenges can be great, I try my best to help bring awareness to this debilitating illness.
Recently my world was shook as I became the mother of an attempted suicide survivor. My world had never been shaken so much until the night I received that heartbreaking call…
In my writings my emotions flow. I share in hope that I am able to help bring awareness to “Breast Implant Illness” and “Suicide Prevention”.
